It is officially #SLASHERWEEK here on Too Into It, the first week of our five week long celebration of Halloween! Everyday of this week we are going to feature one of our favorite slasher movies and below is a basic drinking game that will apply to every trope driven, clichéd one of them. Stay tuned this week and throughout October for fun games, trivia, recipes, party ideas, and more!

1. BODY COUNT

Pretty simple one. Drink every time somebody dies.

2. FAKE OUT

Drink every time there is a misleading change in the atmosphere (i.e. rising spooky music) that makes you THINK the killer is gonna come out and slice someone open when in reality nothing happens.

3. SEX, DRUGS, and ROCK N' ROLL

Everyone knows that in slasher movies, anyone who drinks, does drugs, or has sex will absolutely get dead. DRINK.

4. WINDOW ESCAPE

No one is ever going out of doors in these dang movies. Drink every time a victim's escape route of choice is a window (in a house, car, cabin, etc).

5. INCOMPETENT AUTHORITY FIGURES

Parents, teachers, cops: it seems like any adult that should be helping people not die is doing anything but. Drink when you see it in action.

6. VANISHING KILLER

Drink every time the killer is there stalking one minute and completely gone the next.

7. IMPROVISED WEAPON

A vase, a bicycle, a can of hairspray and a lighter: anytime someone makes a weapon out of something that traditionally is not, you drink.

8. UNBELIEVABLE BLOCKADE

Anytime the killer gets stuck in a comically unbelievable way that conveniently buys the victim time, drink!

9. BACKSTORY HORROR

Drink anytime the story stops to give us a glimpse of the past, and better insight to a likely motive.

10. "I'LL BE RIGHT BACK"

Take a drink anytime someone says that they're going to be right back (or something along those lines), and don't come back (due to the violent death and all).

Be sure to check back everyday this week for a feature on a specific Slasher film suggestion you can use this drinking game on! Every post will have information about the film or franchise and include a bit of trivia, a couple extra game rules specific to that film, and even a couple extra treats for some of our favorites!
