For #SandwichSaturday this month, we're putting a twist on a school lunch favorite by making a Fried Bologna Sandwich with Spicy Mustard. This ain't the sandwich your mama made ya. Enjoy!
What You Need:
Thin Sliced Bologna
What You Do:
Preheat oven to a low setting. Slice the buns and place open side down directly on the wire rack.
Melt some butter in a skillet at medium heat. Toss in some slices of bologna (3-6 slices per sandwich is great). Let them heat a little bit, until you see them start to bubble. Flip and sprinkle with some garlic salt, celery salt, and black pepper.
Take the buns out of the oven (be careful not to burn yourself!) and spread with spicy mustard.
Once the bologna starts bubbling up again, remove from heat. Use tongs to roll into buns, top with with sharp cheddar, and serve!
